Roqué Canine was founded on the belief that good training isn’t about control—it’s about communication. Training focuses on helping people understand their dogs, build trust, and develop skills that make life together easier and more enjoyable.
All training is science-based, dog-centered, and tailored to the individual dog. Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all methods, Roqué Canine prioritizes thoughtful, ethical approaches that support both behavior change and emotional well-being.
The goal is simple: create confident dogs and capable handlers through clear communication, consistency, and mutual respect.
About the Trainer
Hi, I’m Kyra!
I’m the trainer behind Roqué Canine, and I work with dogs and their people through private, one-on-one, in-home sessions. My approach is rooted in modern learning theory and an understanding that behavior doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
I believe training should feel supportive, not overwhelming, for both dogs and humans. Whether I’m working with a new puppy, helping navigate challenging behaviors, or guiding service dog training on a case-by-case basis, my focus is always on clarity, trust, and long-term success.
I work closely with clients to help them read their dog’s behavior, communicate effectively, and build skills that actually carry over into daily life. Every dog is an individual, and training should reflect that.
Training is a partnership. My role is to guide, support, and help you and your dog succeed together.
